This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is stored, and what is never done with it. It is written plainly, because a policy no one can read protects no one. It applies to barosglobal.com and to the inquiry and subscription forms on it.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us. The forms on this site ask for information such as your name, email address, telephone number, organization, geography, and a description of your business or inquiry. The specific fields depend on the form. Nothing is required beyond what is marked as required, and you may leave the rest blank.
We do not run advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or third-party analytics on this site. We set no cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Form submission is handled by Supabase, our database provider, which may use your browser's local storage to function; it is not used to follow you across other sites. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and reliability. We do not combine those logs with your form submissions to build a profile of you.
How we store it
Information you submit is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in a hosted database operated by Supabase. Access to that database is restricted to Baros Global and protected by authentication. We treat what you send as confidential correspondence, not as a marketing asset.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an inquiry. The only recurring mail we send is the annual letter, and only to people who have subscribed to it directly. If you subscribe, you receive one letter a year and nothing else; you may ask to be removed at any time.
We may disclose information only where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Baros Global or others — and no further than that.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry submissions for as long as needed to correspond with you and to keep a record of the conversation, after which they are removed. Letter subscriptions are kept until you ask to end them. You may request the deletion of your information sooner, and we will honor that request unless we are required to retain it.
Your choices
You may ask us what information of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, write to contact@barosglobal.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor those rights as they apply.
Children
This site is intended for business correspondence and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of eighteen.
Changes
We may revise this policy as the site or the law changes. When we do, we update the revision date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced by mail.
