Operators

For operators who built something worth keeping.

Some owners reach a point where they want the business to outlast their daily involvement, but they do not want to hand it to a buyer who will dismantle it. That is the conversation this page is for. We are not a fund looking for lots to flip. We are operators looking for a small number of good businesses to own for a long time.

Criteria

What we look for

We buy occasionally and hold indefinitely. Fit matters more than speed.

  • Cash-flowing businesses with a verifiable record — not turnaround projects
  • Owner-operated companies, typically $500K to $10M of annual earnings
  • The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic preferred; we hold what we can reach
  • Hospitality, real estate, and operating services we genuinely understand
  • An owner who wants the business to continue, not only to be sold
II.
Terms

What we offer

An owner selling to the house is choosing a custodian, not an exit.

  • A permanent home for the business — no fund life, no built-in exit date
  • The option to keep running it, with real authority, for as long as you want the role
  • A fair valuation grounded in current cash flow, explained in plain terms
  • A discreet process — no public listing, no auction, no broker carousel
  • Continuity for the people and the name you spent years building
III.
Refusals

What we will not do

The clearest signal of how a buyer behaves is what they refuse to do.

  • Run an auction, or treat your business as a lot to be bid up
  • Acquire it in order to strip its assets or its staff
  • Load it with debt it cannot service and call that a return
  • Fold it into a roll-up assembled to be sold to the next buyer
  • Disappear after closing — the people who buy it are the people who answer for it

Share as much or as little as you wish. Every field but your email is optional, and nothing here is a commitment. This reaches us directly and goes no further.

Received. We read every submission, and we respond to those we can advance — typically within ten business days. Nothing you have sent goes any further than the house.
